The Story Behind Campfire Club
Hi, I'm Tania.
For over a decade, I've had the privilege of watching families gather around campfires at our campgrounds.
I've watched little kids become teenagers, and years later, watched them return with children of their own.
I've watched grandparents patiently teach little hands how to roast their very first marshmallow. I’ve watched neighbours become lifelong friends. Traditions begin without anyone realizing they were creating them.
And every fall, as another camping season comes to an end, I notice the same thing. People aren't sad because summer is over. They're sad because they don't want that feeling to end.
That's when something became very clear to me.
The moments we treasure most are almost never the ones we plan. They're the quiet weekday evenings. Coffee on the porch. Dinner around the table. The walk we almost skipped. The conversation we almost missed. The ordinary moments that quietly become the memories you never want to lose.
Campfire Club came from that realization. I didn't want to create another journal or another thing women had to keep up with. I wanted something that would help us notice more of the life we're already living — and actually remember some of it when the season is over.
If Campfire Club helps women notice a little more, remember a little more, and create something they'll actually want to pull out years from now, then it's doing exactly what I hoped it would.
My hope is that one day you’ll look back through your Campfire Year and realize you didn’t just create a keepsake - you lived the moments inside it a little more fully.
