Nope. You can start whenever you want. The Campfire Year™ follows the seasons, not the calendar year. Start with the season you're in and work your way through all four from there. So if you find this in July, you don't have to wait six months for January to roll around. Start with Summer.

Then you get behind. Life happens. There's no catching up required and there's definitely no guilt involved. This isn't something you have to do every day — or even every week. If you miss a month or life gets crazy for a while, come back when you're ready and start again from where you are.l.

Not much — because the whole point is for you to actually go live your life. At the beginning of each month, spend a little time with the Guidebook. Read the Fireside Note, look through the month's theme and take whatever speaks to you into the month. Then at the end of the month, give yourself a Campfire Night to look back, add some photos and memories to your Year Book and keep the things you don't want to forget. That's really it.

You don't have to be. This isn't a scrapbooking project and you don't need to know how to design anything. I've already done that part for you. You bring the photos, memories and stories. The Year Book gives you somewhere beautiful to put them.

No. You'll have a version you can use without Canva, plus Canva templates if you'd rather put your Year Book together digitally. Use whichever way feels easiest for you.

Nope. You can keep it digital if that's what you prefer.

But I will say, there's something pretty special about getting to the end of your Campfire Year and having an actual book of it sitting in your hands. You can flip through it. Leave it on the coffee table. Pull it out years from now.

That's a big part of why I created this in the first place.

That's okay too. You don't need snow in Winter or orange leaves in Autumn for this to work.

The seasons give The Campfire Year™ its rhythm, but your version of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter gets to look like your life where you live.

The Year Book itself is included digitally, but the cost of having your finished book professionally printed is not included. At the end of your Campfire Year, you'll be able to choose whether you want to keep it digitally or have it printed as a hardcover keepsake.
